Insurance Information

If you are accepted as a patient in my practice, the following policies will apply:

Insurance – Your health insurance may cover a portion of the cost of psychological treatment. If your insurance does cover mental health and substance abuse treatment, you are typically responsible for your deductible and a copay or co-insurance. If for any reason your insurance company fails to pay the claim as expected, you will be responsible for the balance due.

Insurance panels I am currently on include: Aetna, Aetna Medicare Advantage, Blue Cross Blue Shield - Blue Choice & PPO Plans, Medicare, United Health Care. I will still need to verify plan participation and coverage even if I am listed on your plan, as plans sometimes change their provider panels. Your plan may also have out-of-network benefits if I am not on your panel.

If you do not see your insurance company listed above, please contact me to see if I am on it. If I am not on your insurance panel, you will need to pay in full at the time of the service, and I will give you a receipt for the visit that you can file with your insurance company.

Sometimes individuals do not wish to file mental health claims on their insurance policy for personal or privacy reasons. Should you elect to do this, please let me know by the first session.

NeuroModulation Technique, CranioSacral Therapy and Interactive Metronome Therapy are not psychology treatment modalities. I neither bill for nor accept insurance or insurance assignment for these services, even though I may be listed as a psychologist on your insurance panel.
