Reflexology

What is Reflexology?
This therapy stimulates energy flow throughout the body via pressure points on the feet or hands. It is applied to improve general health and well-being, as well as reduce congestion in the body. Reflexology is based on Chinese Zone Therapy (Acupressure, G-Jo, Shiatsu, etc.).

Reflexology was introduced to the United States in 1913 by William H. Fitzgerald, M.D. (1872–1942), and Dr. Edwin Bowers. Reflexology was modified in the 1930s and 1940s by Eunice D. Ingham (1889–1974), a nurse and physiotherapist.
